12/13 On the 3rd day of Christmas, my Vampire gave to me… A sweet/memorable kiss (skit or drabble)
Kino was gone…again. It has passed four nights since that night they saw they Christmas lights. Once the light show ended they went home. On their way, Kino received a call and then made he’s so familiar face: “It’s ok, nothing serious” he said while continue walking. They decided to have dinner and spend some more time together. While Ariadna was falling asleep, Kino told her that he maybe needed to go out the next morning; Ariadna thought that it as just her imagination. It wasn’t. Ariadna woke up and he was gone and beside her the bed was empty. Ariadna, like the others mornings did, stood up and pass the hand over the empty space: it was cold, he left early. Ariadna felt disappointed, she wanted to at least say goodbye. With resignation Ariadna got out of bed and decided to get ready.
“That stupid Kino, I bet he already knew he had to go out and tried fixing it by taking me out” thought Ariadna angryly. “he nevers tells me beforehand, just some hours before!”
The morning went by and Ariadna did what she do best: distract herself and wait for him to come back. It was good, right? She’ll have some time for herself. She dedicated herself to bake some cookies and when they were ready she decided to play some video games. After a while she saw her cellphone screen and saw that it was just 3 in the afternoon.
“So much free time…what to do?”
Ariadna sighed with annoyance, turned off the console and stood up. She then decided to have a bath: now she doesn’t have to worry about Kino ordering her to wash him. She washed herself slowly to kill more time and to enjoy herself. After that Ariadna was already in pijamas…at 6 of the afternoon. She served herself a cup of hot milk and ate the cookies she made. She was feeling down: just when she thought she could spend some quality time with Kino he had to go out god knows what.
Ariadna hated feeling down, so she simply stood up and decided to watch a movie or some sort of thing to stop thinking. If she sould only had someone to talk to…
“Wait a minute! My dairy!” she said and started running towards her room.
She pulled her diary from it’s hidding place, seated on her desk and placed her earphones to listening to some music while writting:
“Dear Diary:
How are you doing~? You see today I had all the house for myself as well as time! It was such a peacefull day…just like when it was back then. I have one word to describe how it felt: YUCK! Diary…I’m not ok. Yes, I had time for myself and I could do whatever I wanted, but that weren’t the plans I had for this winter! Yesturday was so magical and lovely. I spend time with him and it felt like that all the stress and boredom form school had vanished…but then Kino had to ruin it and go away. He didn’t woke me up to say bye or anything. I know I’m not a moring person, but for him I always wake up to have some breakfast with him! He’s no mean, doesn’t he know by now I hate when he leaves without saying goodbye!? Yes, I was very tired, but it was for a good reason!! BECAUSE I WAS WITH HIM!!…”
Ariadna felt the angry tears start forming on her eyes. She pushed them away and continue writting
“Diary, my beloved diary. I just hope he comes back soon. He comes safe and sound. He was such a jerk and earn so many enemies that I fear he never comes back or get hurts…I don’t want nothing to happen to him. I know, I know I shouldn’t be overly dramatic or think about the worst case scenario, but I can’t help it! I’ll receive him with open arms and desprocupation so that he doesn’t get the satisfaction of seeing me worried about him! Hmph! ANYWAY! Thanks for listening I feel better :D…Wait! It’s snowing! OMG! It’s snowing again! I must go! I want to see the snowflakes!! BYE BYE!

Ariadna closed her diary and rushed outside. Grabbing in a hurry her coat and putting on her boots she opened the door and saw that the snowflakes were falling. Seeing the snow always made her excited: it was like a tiny bit of winter magic, a miracle.
Even though it was cold, Ariadna started giggling and jumping trying to grab as many snowflakes as she could. Suddenly her favorite song start playing: “just perfect” she thought. Such an event ALWAYS needed her special song. She started dancing and swirling with the rhythm. She laugh: if some were to see her they would think she’s crazy. She couldn’t help it: the snowflakes were moving in armony, it was like they were following the music. She was told many times that she was weird…maybe she indeed was, she was like a child getting excited over some snow and playing music to go along with it.
Just when the best part (2:20) was playing she heard a chuckle, making her lost concentration on the melody.
“I thought the song said ‘dancing in the rain’ not the snow” someone in the distance said.
“That voice!” Ariadna turned around and start looking everywhere trying to find the source of the voice. She spoted a figure approaching her, when it was close enough the entrance the light comming from the house revealed a Kino covered in snow. Ariadna opened her eyes in surprise.
“Just when I thought you’ll be all depressed laying in the sofa waiting for me I come and find you celebrating my absence instead, should I be dissapointed~?” said smilling like mocking her.
“K-Kino! W-What are you…How…!?” blunted Ariadna with surprise.
“I came back sooner that expected” he said like it wasn’t a big thing.
“H-How? I thought it was important”
“Just a little, but I decided to make it quick”
“W-Why you…you did it?”
Kino came little closer to her.
“Because I wanted”
Ariadna saw through his eyes: he was lying
“Liar~ It’s not like you gave me a specific date, but taking into account this four days that have pass I thought I must have been something serious. Tell me, why you came home earlier?”
Kino saw her. Then looking to the side he said:
“I thought it wasn’t fair leaving you alone, specially in these dates you like so much”
“You’re right” said Ariadna feeling her heart bursting with joy. “Just when we were supposed to spend time together you had to go, you ruined it stupid”
“What you sa–?!”
Ariadna didn’t give him the opportunity to finish his sentence when she throw herself to him.
“I missed you Kino, don’t do that again! To think you left me during this time! You’re mean!” she said holding her need to cry.
“Yes yes, I won’t~" said “How about I pay you back~?”
“Pay me back? Ho–?!” she said lifting her face to see him right to his face. Before she could end Kino grabbed her face with his hands and placed a kiss on her lips.
Ariadna felt that familiar heat on her face that indicate her typical blush spreading through her cheeks. Kino’s kiss was tender, but demanding. Ariadna was stiff due to the surprise, but slowly relaxed and returned the kiss. They separate due to the lack of air and Ariadna was red as a tomato by now.
“Well? Am I forgiven~?” said Kino teasingly.
“Y-You are.” muttered Ariadna as it was the only thing she could said.
“Well then, should we go back inside? It’s cold here, don’t you think~?”
“S-Sure!”
They walked close to each other and Ariadna was extremely happy. “Just in time” she thought to herself. “Just in time for the great finale of my song, so romantic~!” she said while pulling her earphones away and entering the house. She’ll cherish this moment for a LONG WHILE!!
