When your brain hits you with plot bunnies
Midway through working on the latest part of my VigilanteBakugou and ProHeroMidoriya fix for Ao3 I've sudden been hit with the intense idea and no plot to go with it. all I can think of lately is a universe where Midoriya doesn’t receive OfA but still gets into UA, working instead in vernal studies before transferring into Support where he becomes close friends with Mei and just the idea of her sorta rubbing off on him. 'why would a quirk matter? Babies are made from your brain not your quirk' and he'/ just like 'oh' and before he knows it he ends up getting paired with bakugou for something when he comes by to get a costume adjustment. The two bicker and argue and are generally unfriend but keep getting stuck together with costume malfunctions and before they realize it they've become friends on accident. Midoriya just doesn'5 put up with bakugou's shit anymore and although he hates him bakugou realizes he actually needs to get his costume fixed and then be'/ just coming back to get in a good jab or because he wants to blow off steam and argue with midoriya. Midoriya starts calling him things like pop-rock or firecracker just to bug him and bakugou doesn'5 notice when he starts enjoying being around him. Eventually quite a few of the class has to get adjustment and just go when bakugou mentions something about heading to the support classroom he yells at them and bitches and when they enter the class they're complete thrown off by the short greenhaired boy who spots them and yells that bakugou isn't allowed in because he's already been in there two many times that week
