Jumping at being shouted at, Ed took a few steps back and stared at the man in fear. There had been people behind her, she’d left the door open for them and when she looked back to explain that, the people were gone....wonderful. Turning back to apologize for the door, the mans glare quelled her boldness and cause her to take yet another step back, stammering as she attempted to get her voice back long enough to apologize.
