"in your mind? but not in person?" emma questioned with a raise of her brow. "can i ask why not?" she was curious, of course. it was in her nature and well... she was nosey too. perhaps she'd inherited that from her mother. evie shrugged her shoulders playfully. "maybe not but... are you gonna tell my mum?" she teased with a small chuckle. "you going to get me in trouble?" she was only messing with him, of course. evie was glad that jake was a part of her family. she liked him a lot. "don't worry, i'm not gonna do anything that would get any of us in trouble or anything. i'm just borrowing it so i can find out mum's size for this bracelet i saw the other day. i'm sorry, i didn't realise you were home or i wouldn't have just walked in."

jennifer cocked a brow at the other, turning to look at him. “someone is doing what to you?” she questioned, concerned about what was happening. it wasn’t often that she felt concern for others but… every now and then? someone chinked away at her armour. “someone hurting you?” she’d been there. she’d been hurt badly. so much so that it literally changed her. “you in trouble?” perhaps whoever was a concern to this person could be her next meal.

"you need me to believe you? is this a life and death situation?" she tried to tease, tried to make light of the situation. dana cleared her throat before nodding her head slowly. "hey, handsome. i brought you some goodies." evie grinned as she approached him. whenever she saw him or even thought of him? she couldn't help but beam like a fool. "i baked some new things that i'm thinking of adding to my bakery so of course; it means i need a guinea pig to tell me if they taste good or not." evie teased. "sweet or savoury first?" she questioned before leaning closer to press a kiss to his cheek. "how you doing today?"

cici nodded her head. "i get that. maybe i can help with that?" she questioned with a raise of her brow. "i like to think that i'm a pretty confident gal." she teased, winking playfully. "i'm kidding. well, kinda. i do have confidence. but hey, rusty or not? i'm here! i will help where i can." cici offered, shrugging. "can i ask what's up? like what you're maybe trying to achieve?" she was alive. she was given a second chance and maybe it would be nice to be a good person too.

peter smiled sadly before clearing his throat.
