One of the fun things about Aranorverse f!Faramir (Míriel) is that I think the evidence suggests canon Faramir is extremely tall, and while I imagine her as somewhat shorter than canon Faramir, it’s not by much, so Míriel is still this absolutely towering woman.
I imagine Faramir as rather lean, so Míriel likewise, but that’s still a lot of human being. Then my mind leapt to “huh, it’d take a strong person to lift her.” Like—say, Boromir. And probably not many others (not that anyone else would lift the Steward’s daughter).
So now I’m imagining that Boromir, while he has a strong sense of their dignity in general, can lift Míriel right off the ground and sometimes gives her giant bear hugs that do exactly that.
Or ... used to. :(
