"Why?" Randy asked again, suddenly exhausted from sitting in the same position for weeks on end. He longed for a place where he could settle down for a bit. Perhaps decorate a space and curl up underneath to sleep for a couple of days, nothing but the sound of the pressing silence around him.

"I'm a curious man, Randy. Can't a man be curious?"

Randy stared at his lap. Sighing he scrambled for a reply that wouldn't make him look more like a loser. Tough luck.

"I don't know, Benson. I only ever kissed one girl. How would I know if it was good or not?" He was surprised by his tone but kept his eyes trained on the road stubbornly, not ready to meet the sharpness of Benson's just yet.

Benson suppressed a sigh.  "You just know," he said with a nod. Simple. As if it was a known fact. "Yeah, well, I didn't." Randy grumbled. Benson chuckled. "Well." Randy made a noise of frustration. "Would you- Do we have to talk about this right now?"

Benson did sigh then, making a fluttering sound in his nose, his eyebrows shrugging as he looked out over the road, quiet. Randy inhaled. It wasn't easy standing up for yourself against Benson, it usually ended with Randy having to fight an even worse battle than the one he started. He trembled with adrenaline and the lack of bite from Benson made him even more alert of every movement. He flinched when Benson spoke again.
