Lydia. Derek always was the finale, after all his mind knows who he cares for the most, who he is scared to lose like many others before.

On really cruel nights the nogitsune shows up, Donovan is murdered again, Derek lies lifeless in an elevator, and even worse. his mother, calling him a murderer, strangling him. smiling at him.

One night he hears a voice through the hell that his mind built and when he is finally able to shake himself awake Derek is there saying kindly “it will be alright“ his hand holding onto Stiles’s, and Stiles knows, it will be true.
