“Alright?” The surprise showed, even on his usually stern face. He had expected a little surprise, but his face hardly changed. Even his readings didn’t show much of a change and he tended to rely on those when his (lack of) social prowess failed him.
Damn this guy is hard to read.
But he consented, so Genos stepped a little closer, watching the bells as they rang the last few times. He wasn’t entirely sure what to do. He only just realized he’d never actually done this before. He’d seen it done in the movies, but this was different? At least he thought so, he highly doubted Zombieman had any romantic intentions. Unfortunately he was still pondering the implications when the bells chimed the final time at the stroke of midnight.
The blond’s body language betrayed his hesitance to proceed. Zombieman hadn’t really thought too far into the request, assuming he’d just give him a quick kiss between mutual friends for the sake of some tired old tradition and be done with it, that’s all he wanted right?
But the pause he was exhibiting was making the older man wonder behind the cyborg’s intentions. Did he expect like...something a little more than just friendly? He wondered.
He was torn out of his reverie as the bells began to chime in celebration, and it didn’t look as though Genos was about to break his posture.
Zombieman closed the distance between the two. One hand came to rest along the small of the Demon Cyborg’s mechanically plated back, and the other hand to rest behind his artificial jaw. His fingers cupped the back of his head, and twined serenely in the younger man’s artificial blond hair.
His face abated from it’s usual stoniness, and blood red eyes drifted shut, as his lips brushed against the ‘skin’ of Genos’ synthetic lips.
