I just saw the weirdest fucking take from someone who is in the queer community themselves, claiming that if their ancestors could leave their country with nothing to escape genocide, then families of trans people can definitely leave US states that started passing anti-trans legislations.
Because, you know, it’s so much easier for us today than it was for their impoverished ancestors, so, we should be able to do it. No excuses.
