hello hello hello, it’s dolly again here to hit y’all with this second intro!
corrine thorne is twenty-five years old and has lived in derry for about half of her life
at fifteen she moved from derry to new york to dance with a ballet company there, despite disapproval from her parents who very reluctantly let her go. they never thought she’d make it as a serious dancer and she just had to prove them wrong
at twenty she had to stop dancing due to getting pregnant by one of her fellow dancers. it was unfortunate for such a young talent to be wasted due to a mistake, but corrine just couldn’t bring herself to terminate the pregnancy
she continued living in new york with her baby daddy, as he was taking care of her and their child. two years later they got pregnant again with a little boy
the two of them never married, which made it easier when corrine decided to leave. he was cheating on her with another dancer and she just couldn’t take it and wouldn’t subject their children to that, so she packed her things, gathered the kids, and moved them back to derry
clara and fritz are currently still at home with corrine, neither of them old enough to be enrolled in school yet, and she’s trying to teach them both to dance from a young age
she now works as a ballet instructor, having retired from dancing on stage, though she longs to go back to that someday even though the odds aren’t in her favor

What is your biggest fear?
Losing everything in my life, including my loved ones and my fans. Being alone, having no one to turn to.
How would you react if confronted with that fear?
I don’t really know. I’d probably go on with my life the way I usually do because no one wants to see me be sad.
Do you have any triggers? If so, what are they?
Food is a pretty big trigger for me. I don’t like to watch others eat, I don’t like to see myself eat, and I don’t like looking at my body after consuming anything.
Have you experienced any trauma?
Yes.
If so, what was the incident?
I watched my mother die. I’ve also been a victim of abuse at the hands of my father my entire life. The latter is a new realization.
If you were confronted with a stranger that needed assistance with their car, what would be your reaction?
What is this, a Ted Bundy question? I wouldn’t help anyone in that situation that I didn’t know. At best, I’d call them a tow truck or the police.
What if this stranger needed assistance in the case of a “life or death” emergency?
I would do what I could to help, but I wouldn’t put myself in danger to help them, either.
What if the emergency involved an enemy?
It depends on who the enemy is.
How do you feel about your parents?
I never really liked my mother because she didn’t love me. My father told me that she abused me as a young child and I believed him. Now, though, I know that my father is full of shit. He’s been the abuser and has tried to run my life and make it his own. He uses me for his own advantage. My relationship with him has been changing lately and, for me, it’s been for the better. As for my mother, she’s dead. All I feel for her now is sadness.
How do you feel about Prometheus?
Prometheus is my life. I’ve been signed with them since I was a child and I love it. I wouldn’t change my relationship with them for the world.
What is the first cancellation you remember?
At seven years old, after a big movie project, one of my adult costars went on a downward spiral. Alistair David was his name, and he let himself get out of control. He was cancelled about a year after our film was released.
What is your opinion on cancellation?
I find cancellation to be necessary. I’ve been pro-cancellation my entire life and don’t plan on changing that opinion any time soon.
Would you advocate for an enemy to be cancelled?
Yes, I would, especially if they deserved it for allowing their points to drop.
Would you try to save a friend from cancellation?
I would try, but I also know that it would do no good. Once someone is on the path to cancellation, there’s no stopping it.
