Since childhood, Lenne had always envisioned her future as an Idol. She spent hours singing, and playing instruments. She had the privilege of learning from vocal coaches and choir directors. Years of practice paid off when she was older, as she'd signed a contract with a popular record label. By then, she'd begun dating her number one fan, Shuyin. They met before she'd become famous, as they'd attended the same college. Lenne quickly rose to fame, but that didn't go to her head since Shuyin kept her grounded. Whenever her latest tour was put on hold due to the war, the brunette had no choice but to defend the city she'd loved. The front lines were brutal, and she'd witnessed a lot of death. She was a skilled White Mage and Summoner, but even then tragedy couldn't be averted.
In Shuyin's desperation to protect her, he activated Vegnagun-- Bevelle's secret weapon. Lenne pleaded for him to quit while he was ahead, when the Bevellian Guardsmen sauntered closer. She ran to her beloved Blitzball player, holding onto him for the last time. With tear filled eyes, the Songstress slowly accepted her fate. The cruel Guards shot the couple, putting an end to their resistance.
The brunette's spirit laid dormant within the Songstress dressphere, unable to fully move on. Shuyin's shadow also refused to rest as he sought to destroy Spira. Lenne then conveyed her feelings through Yuna, even going so far as to reveal how she'd died. When all hope seemed lost, it was Yuna who defeated Vegnagun and brought her and Shuyin together. Sorrow and longing reflected in the former Blitzball player's eyes when he gazed upon his lover after 1,000 years. His rage had been quelled, and he found comfort in Lenne's arms. Their souls slumber in the Farplane now, and their hearts are full again.
