okay so i got a new router/modem and ethernet clocked in at 117/12 (!!!!!!!?!?!?!?! HOLY SHIT?!?!!?) and then I went to set up the wifi and it was 80/12 and now it’s 7/8.

Does anybody know of a good psychiatrist in the chicago north shore area? (I live in Glenview, zip code 60025 and have tentative access to my mom's car, but I'd prefer it to be within biking or pace bus distance)

I need to, absolutely need to, go get my ADD diagnosed and more importantly, start being able to get medication for it, medication which I know works and helps me, that I absolutely need to have in order to not fucking fail every class. So ideally this psychiatrist would listen to me and be willing to prescribe me what I need.

Alternatively, is there a better way to look for good local psychs other than just googling and making posts on tumblr?

#in high school I had a friend who for some reason had like a whole jar full of the medicine #and he used to sell 'em to me for real cheap and while I had them I had the best grades in my entire life #also ideally I can keep this from my parents #My stepdad and dad both believe that I'm just weak willed and need to learn to work through this #(assholes)#my mom doesn't believe in 'traditional medicine' or most medications #she believes in chiropracticy (sp?) homeopathy physiotherapy #some other 'alternative medicine' bullshit #which is great for her and all #but fuck I tried it and it doesn't do jack shit for my inattention problems #biofeedback #neurofeedback #w/e it was actually called #something like that #north shore #chicago north shore
