Haru just so happened to be staking out an area on the request of Gokudera when she noticed something in the corner of her eye. She crept up to the mysterious figure to see a cat that was stalking about. Before she could get any closer, it noticed her and scampered off. Seeing cats always reminded her of Natsu and Uri.
That’s how she coincidentally happened to be there at the right place and time. Or rather, the incorrect time. She noticed a familiar figure and approached with caution. Either he was on a mission, or he was doing some kind of ‘Prince’ thing that she, a ‘peasant’ couldn’t understand.
It didn’t take long for her to figure the answer, considering she’d been pulled any which way according to his whim, and the sound of gunshots sent warning sirens through her mind. What luck! She was tasked to stake out the area and gather as much information as she could for Gokudera, and she had somehow managed to land herself in a precarious situation because she recognized Belphegor, who was obviously in the middle of a mission.
Rather than fighting against the Prince, she allowed him to yank her into the nearest alleyway, having faith that he wouldn’t do so without a good reason. Surely he wasn’t about to use her as a meat shield? If so, that’d be incredibly rude of him. Be sure to offer a cake at her grave, won’t you? This put a wrench in her plans to quietly investigate the immediate area now that it’d turned into a battle zone. This was supposed to be a relatively ‘tame’ mission, but things fell through now that this situation exploded. She raised her right hand with a cloud ring on it, to wordlessly inform him that she was here on her own mission.
What a crazy coincidence, hm?
