It seemed to be colder today, with snow falling at a quicker pace compared with yesterday. Yet despite his continual complaints about the cold, Touya still wandered around the village. Of course, as the temperature continued to drop, he eventually made the smart decision to step indoors, quickly as well.
The Cornerstore was closest to Touya, so he decided to step inside briefly until he warmed up a little, shaking the snow off his clothes. Standing close to the entrance, he looks around the store in silence, rubbing one of the sleeves of his jacket in an attempt to warm up.
Touya didn’t think to move from the entrance as he looked around the store, not even thinking that he should move until he could hear someone approaching from behind.
“Oh. I’m in the way, aren’t I? Sorry.” Touya calmly spoke, taking a step to the side to allow the other to pass. In hindsight, he should have moved sooner, there was little point in blocking the doorway.
