Brave New World: Do you think ignorance is bliss?

A surprising thing to be asked, if he were to be honest. It’s not everyday that a child would be asked such a thing.

The Informant crosses his hands behind his back, thinking. 

“Isn’t that more of a double-edged sword?”

“If you’re not ignorant, you get hurt by the truth of it all, if you’re ignorant, you either hurt your loved ones or hurt yourself.”

His smile appears once again, and his hands are now in his pocket.

“Ignorance could be bliss, I guess. But..., only for so long.”

It seemed to be colder today, with snow falling at a quicker pace compared with yesterday. Yet despite his continual complaints about the cold, Touya still wandered around the village. Of course, as the temperature continued to drop, he eventually made the smart decision to step indoors, quickly as well.

The Cornerstore was closest to Touya, so he decided to step inside briefly until he warmed up a little, shaking the snow off his clothes. Standing close to the entrance, he looks around the store in silence, rubbing one of the sleeves of his jacket in an attempt to warm up. 

Touya didn’t think to move from the entrance as he looked around the store, not even thinking that he should move until he could hear someone approaching from behind.

“Oh. I’m in the way, aren’t I? Sorry.” Touya calmly spoke, taking a step to the side to allow the other to pass. In hindsight, he should have moved sooner, there was little point in blocking the doorway.

Alignment :: What would be their D&D alignment? How might it come into play?

ozpin is neutral good! while operating on his own agenda most of of the time, he was fairly dedicated to bending the system in order to get what he wants, even if it includes making it himself (see: the end of the great war, the academy system), but to have anything to bend, it means that there needs to be a system in the first place. 

i say that he operates by his own whims a lot, but that isn’t entirely true. his own mental morality system lines up a pretty decent amount with the actual law, which revolves around “ doing good “. he’s just. bad at being good! sometimes in order to keep the morale of the world up you lie to everyone and say that peace and dreams will always be around and that there is still hope in the world!! sometimes you play your cards in the exact right way so that you take advantage of humanity’s heart and get them to follow your whims. it’s for their own good, you know! the point is that he’s beyond the law system, but uses it when its convenient… and that his true beliefs kind of line up with that of a god’s :thinking: weird!

40. How is their sense of humor? Do they have one?

Shouto has a sense of humor, deep down, somewhere...

It’s hard to read and very dry, but he’s not totally against teasing someone once he’s sure they’re not going to immediately kick his ass. That being said, he doesn’t really get jokes or laugh often, so things like that might not land very well in conversation.

☾ What is their favorite and least favorite thing about the night?

Sho’s favorite thing about the night is easily that people don’t bother him at all, since they’re sleeping. Any time that he doesn’t have to deal with others is good time, in Sho’s book.

However, he is often awake during the night, since his least favorite things are the nightmares he’s constantly plagued with. It’s hard to sleep when memories of the past haunt you as soon as you close your eyes.
