It was nice to have his friends back in one place. Due to their own lives, everyone being so spread out made it difficult to see everyone. There were a few days he had before he went to Spain but he was happy to enjoy his time with Jordan and Asher. With Asher out for the day, he was fortunate to have time alone with Jordan. He couldn’t remember the last time he was alone with Jordan but the afternoon was ahead of them. The gardens were something that Edward admired and one of the highlights at the palace. There were a few people out, but the palace was closed for tours at the time. It was often strange that he lived in a place that tours happened and strangers roamed the palace, but he looked forward to when the tours were done for the day where he could go outside. The gardens and going on long walks around the palace were peaceful and now with Jordan, he was happy to show his friend the wonders he also appreciated. “You ought to come here during autumn if your schedule allows,” Edward suggested idly, glancing around with his hands pocketed. “Or are you too big now to come upon request?”

After a long few weeks that hadn’t sparred him a moment of relative stress free environments, Kent found comfort in the pleasures of working. It was nice to be back stateside and at the offices in Capital Hill knowing it would be the last time he was there. Throughout the week he would be moving up to New York and though it was a temporary goodbye to DC as he hoped he would have a reason to come back, it would be a while. There was also a recent and interesting juxtaposition with Jordan Sheppard coming to ANA at Kit’s agreement. He still wasn’t sure what the concept was other than being followed around for some movie. If it was anything like Spotlight or the sort, he would be open to discussing it at greater lengths. His morning schedule was tight with him going to the offices at 6:30am and prepped until the segment at nine. When he opened the doors to the building and took the elevator to the designated floor, he saw Jordan by the reception desk. He made a subtle gesture for the actor to follow him, glancing between Jordan and his phone. “If you’re tired, there’s some coffee over there,” he assured, knowing that it was an early start to a day though thought Jordan may be used to early call times. “The morning is busy but after ten the pace slows down.”
