“I’m surprised you’re still experiencing morning sickness. I don’t know if you just have a sensitive stomach or if you’re in for a rough pregnancy.” Alaric commented, hoping he wasn’t overstepping. After all, she knew her body better than he did and he wasn’t a medical professional.

Setting the cup of tea down in front of her, Alaric smiling at her gently. “Hopefully that will help. I can make you more if it does ease the nausea. Are you having any other problems?” He asked, trying not to look at her stomach to see how much she was showing. @juniperthelionheart​

“What do you mean, what am I doing? What does it look like I’m doing?” Riya asked with a laugh, reaching up to push hair behind her ear before tugging her hand back in her muff to keep it warm. She hadn’t actually expected to run into Juniper while she was out that day, but it was a pleasant surprise as far as she was concerned. “I’m caroling. I was part of the Frog Choir at school, don’t you remember? So don’t tell me I’m not good.” Not that Riya would have believed them anyway, but why waste time arguing when they could be singing?

It may have been a long time since she last saw Juniper, but she didn’t think they’d parted on bad terms as much as they’d simply parted, life dragging them in different directions. Tilting her head, Riya smiled slowly, remembering Juniper as someone that was fun and therefore not particularly scared about going out and doing things. “Want to come with? No a cappella try out necessary.” She asking, teasing. “Come on, I’m without the kids and I’m doing something fun. Have some holiday cheer with me.” @juniperthelionheart
