Fon was happy that to see that they accepted the food, waiting in anticipation in hopes that they enjoyed the food as well. He's tried these bento before and liked them, so he hoped that Viper would feel the same way.
"You must be very busy to not have taken a break to eat yet." Fon was concerned that Viper wasn't taking good care of themself. It just takes one skipped meal to slowly turn into having one or two meals daily... and then what some people have been calling 'having girl dinner'. That couldn't be healthy for anyone in the long run.
Out of respect for Viper's privacy and work, he didn't ask too many questions or attempt to sneak a glance at whatever they were working on. Who knows if they'd be charged a hefty fee for sneaking a peak?
