Xiaomi Mi Note Pro gets its release date set for May 12

Xiaomi had added the 5.7-inch Mi Note Pro with a Snapdragon processor to its portfolio of affordable devices early this year. The phablet is an enhanced variant of the Mi Note which was revealed along with it back in January. The former handset has finally been given a release date of May 12 and a cost of RMB 2999 (close to Rs 31000).

Xiaomi marked its entry into India with the Mi 3 last year, right on the heels of the global unveiling of the Mi 4.
