Perhaps the worst thing about reposters is that they'll try to justify stealing someone else's work with the "you put it on the internet" arguement, the "by your logic, we shouldn't be doing so and so" argument, the "I gave credit" argument (because saying credit to the artist is totally credit) or whatever poor arguement they will pull out of their ass.
These people don't care about how hard you work on your art and whether or not you will use it to find work in the future. They care about becoming big on social media without the work.
That's not to say that all reposters are bad though. The ones who go through the effort of getting the artist's permission and giving proper credit when they do get approval deserve every ounce of respect.
But the reposters who don't do this and try to leech out of your hard work should be dealt with harshly if encountered. Make stealing art as unfruitful as possible.
They are pretty easy to find actually, especially on posts where artists point out how stealing their work is harmful.
