Miserable most of the season 2 OVAs may be, but at least we got Bang and Atomic Samurai fishing. That OVA was worth all the bad ones.
Yes, that one was good and really raised my hopes for the rest of the OAVs (ahhh, alas). It’s set at a definite and reasonable time, falling between the events of season 1 and 2. It’s a reasonable set up, being time the two masters are taking to catch up and relax. It treats characters reasonably -- I can believe that what Atomic, Bang, Iaian, Mumen Rider and Chain n’ Toad are doing are things they’d do. And we get more context on the way the Hero Association rates heroes and its impact on their actions which jibes nicely with what we see.
It just made my disappointment with the rest of them sharper, but yes, that one was a good one.
