Continually astounded by the general lack of consideration for others in public...

We are in a movie theater — where it is going to be dark. Meaning the light from your dumb little phone is going to be very noticeable for the rest of the people sharing a row with you! And I should not be seeing your dumb little phone in your hand in the middle of a movie. Period! You are being rude. And what's more is you should ABSOLUTELY be aware of movie theater etiquette by now in 2026.

Who the hell thinks it's okay to scroll social media (or whatever the hell they were doing!) for six-ish minutes in the middle of a freaking movie? Put your damn phone away, or better yet, step outside. Unbelievable.

(Un)fortunately my dad has a lot of practice dealing with mannerless moviegoers and the problem person put their phone away after saying something to them once.

Spent most of yesterday looking at entry/reservation fees for farmers' markets and/or craft fairs later in the year, and I'm a little frustrated by just how many of them lack this sort of "general info" detail.

One local market/fair lists no fee information so it smells like a "legitimate free entry vs. surprise request for credit card info" gamble.

Second local market/fair takes place every Saturday evening from May until September and has ONE line about fee info. It reads "10% of sales" in its entirety.

Third local-to-semi-local market/fair had the most information AND the highest fee prices.

Location A (2 days in Sept.) wants $400 for a 10x20 table; $200 for a 10x10 table.

Location B (2 days in Oct.) again wants $400 for 10x20; $200 for 10x10. Indoor/Outdoor event with no distinction of indoor vs. outdoor table on digital tickets.

Location C (3 days in Nov.) wants $300 for a 10x10 *outdoor* table. Don't have information for the 10x10 *indoor* tables because they've sold all available spaces and the digital tickets for those are listed as "Out of Stock". Best guess is $600?

There's more fairs and markets I plan on researching, so I'm crossing my fingers for fewer/shorter rounds of "Where's Waldo? Entry Fee Edition" going forward.

Recently had my ADHD medication adjusted by 5mg and I'll be able to start the new dosage tomorrow. Fingers crossed this works out well + resolves a few anxiety-rooted motivation/procrastination issues I've been grappling with for a while. 🤞

This past weekend was my local comic convention and I wanted to share with y'all the Star Wars art merch I scored from the incredible artist Logan Pack! The figures are separate post.

I love his work so much and bought a Sgt. Hunter print (Season 2 armor + helmetless) from him the previous year. He has so many Star Wars characters to choose from — some of his newest work now includes fan-favorites Capt. Rex and Cmdr. Cody that I will ABSOLUTELY be adding to my growing collection in the future!!

This past weekend was my local comic convention and I wanted to share with y'all the Star Wars figures merch I scored! The art will be a separate post.

At long last, I completed my line-up of (helmeted) The Bad Batch Funko Pops with sweet little Omega! Was very excited to unite her with the rest of her brothers.

Next are the Black Series figures! The Mandalorian/Din Djarin in his original armor, and Darth Maul — specifically his Phantom Menace version/appearance.

Little fun fact: fully assembled, Maul's lightsaber is taller than he is! The blades are removable and the hilt comes apart in the middle.

Thought I was about to have a very unhappy evening after it looked like I lost close to two/three hours of writing progress...

Thankfully both my phone and laptop were being a little stupid and not properly talking to one another. Only thing I lost were some minor proofreading edits. Hallelujah...! :')

Dreaming yesterday night that Dean Winchester stole the first(!!) piece of the no-bake peanut butter cup pie I helped my mom make for Mother's Day makes sense because we watched several Supernatural episodes together the night before.

Dreaming yesterday morning that I was helping Darth Maul change out his earring*s* does and doesn't. Maul canonically has a helix piercing in his left ear — but that's about it. So my family's now joked I must have taken him to Space Claire's to explain the earlobe piercings he had. (Can't remember what they were, sadly. Only that they were appropriately "edgy" yet still combat-safe.)

Been looking at the draft I've had for a Mando story idea I've had for a year or more lately, and I'm waffling more than an ice cream cone on whether I keep it a reader-insert or make this about an original character instead. Honestly, I could write it either way! But the trouble I'm having is committing to one decision. :')
