Jeffie beats Jenn to the door, and cracks it open to see who was on the otherside.
"Roman?" she opens the door a bit more, scooting Jeffie back with her leg. "What are you doing here?"
Truth be told, Jenn was surprised the witch chose to knock rather than just appear in her apartment.
So… uhhh… I watched the magical girl indie pilot (you know the one), and I now find magical girls fascinating. So… I made some ocs… 😅
Their names are Cherry and Summer (their magical girl names are C2 and (working title)).
I like the kind of worlds that are like, “it’s basically our world, but certain conspiracies are true (think sci-fi/aliens/supernatural stuff /governmental secrets/magic/etc)”. So their world is like, there’s a secret society of magical girls, and Summer is a part of it. She’s your average stereotypical magical girl, cheerful, wields the power of light, yada yada yada… Cherry is her friend who finds out that summer is a magical girl, and wants to become one too, but it’s kind of a destiny thing, so she had to get creative.
She managed to get a hold of technology from the government, which would make it so she could transform into a completely robotic being at will… she ends up joining the magical girl society because Summer finds her super cool, and the rest is history!
When Cherry turns into C2 she is has a personality change, she has all her memories, but she’s more like a chatbot that has a written record of all her memories inside of her databanks. I wanted to play around with themes of humanity and stuff like that. The tech she stole was definitely a part of some mind control attempt and/or super soldier program. She’s stuck with it permanently, and though it doesn’t make her evil, it does cause a big personality change.
(Now to preface, the idea of an emotionless robot is usually at best accidentally autistic coded, and at worst, annoying and tropey/cheesy. I think the trope is fascinating, and a realistic portrayal of it would be fun if written well. I made it so Cherry is Autistic, and C2 is basically what would happen if ChatGPT were to be given a body and some play script info. Again, she isn’t evil, just only capable of logical thinking. There could be some conversation about morality, classic Spider-Man plot: wrestling normal life with the hero-ing, Summer interacting with C2 vs Cherry, Cherry coming to terms with her situation. Even though they are the same people, and are incapable of interacting, I consider Cherry and C2 to be 2 separate characters, but not really.)
IDK if there’ll be an animal/general little guy-sidekick. I don’t think there needs to be one in this case, but I think one existing would be cute. Most likely wouldn’t be an animal, more of a little guy, you know.
