Update: I got to take him home today, but I’m drowning in bills now. I could still really use the support if anyone is able. On the pawsitive side, he’s ALIVE and home with me ❤️ I was mess seeing him today, crying and hugging him. He kept kissing my tears away. This dog man 🥹 He had a twisted stomach, foreign body, AND an abnormal spleen that had to be removed, and he’s comforting me.

In my previous ask you said that you weren't sure if All Might even knew how to reach out to Kotaro. Couldn't he pinpoint his residence by looking up his public records?

I’m sure All Might could have figured out a way to contact him if he really wanted to, but I really think he was trying to respect Nana’s wishes when she said she didn’t want them contacting her son. Despite how he probably wanted to, it also would have been awkward, like “hey I’m the son your mom adopted after she gave you up!” Like how would you even go about introducing yourself?? Plus All Might I’m sure was busy with his own schooling and then college in America followed by immediately becoming a hero afterwards. There were probably a lot of reasons why he didn’t look Kotaro up.

Can you explain why All Might made no attempt to reach out to Kotaro 5 years before the event of the manga and explain who killed his mother? I get that Nana wanted him to stay out of her family's lives, but the purpose behind this request was largely to ensure AFO doesn't pinpoint their location. All Might had no idea that AFO survived their first duel nor did he know about the Shimura's death. So, he had no reason not to give Kotaro closure after "killing" AFO.

I don’t know that All Might would have any idea HOW to reach Kotaro nor if he really even knew much at all about him. It’s possible he didn’t know anything about him at all until later in life, that Gran Torino withheld all information to specifically keep All Might from contacting them. I can see All Might wanting to respect Nana’s wishes though as well, despite how much how much he may have wanted to.

I disagree. Shortly after the Kamino incident, Gran Torino informed Tsukauchi that Nana told him AND All Might not to seek Kotaro out. So All Might knew about Kotaro in advance; However, neither he nor Torino had any idea that Kotaro was Shigaraki's father until AFO informed them.
