|| Cori listened to the person who was speaking as they were telling her what to do, she had to go along with a Mark- of course not trusting her to handle “ bat shit crazies” alone. 

She knocked on the detectives desk, “ Im sure youve heard but you have to come along for a ride- mister fragile ego over there doesnt think I can handle a simple check in.” She smiled warmly and snickered, Cori wasnt mean at all but people putting her down because of how she came across was something that pissed her off.||

|| “ Don’t sweat that.” Her heavy russian accent carried her words as she tried to comfort the other, “I can help.” ||

“Well I wasn’t exactly anticipating this.” She mumbled as she snuggled close, feeling tired as she had used up almost all of her energy to show all of them why she had never been subdued before and won’t ever be subdued, most certainly not by Olympians.

“I will be fine in a few days. I think. Just need to recover.” It wasn’t as if she’d die from her injuries, it would just require a longer recovery, which kind of annoyed her because it meant she’d have to spend a few days in bed.

│✰★✰│HIS HEART was pounding in his chest, HE WASNT used to dealing with this sort of thing, he wasnt USED TO leaving his own CAVE, - His head dropped down, his forehead RESTING in the crook of her neck.  the AMOUNT OF ANGER he felt at the moment made his HANDS shake.                                                “Who did THIS?”

“Wonderful! Now just forget about those bastards, it’s a waste of time.” She hummed, letting her fingers graze the feathers on his wing. She liked his wings for some reason, they were nice. “Focus on something else. Like me.” Gaia teased with a chuckle.

│✰★✰│He GRINNED at her comment, “ Fine- YOU IT IS.” He dark hues set on her features combing OVER THEM, his arm tightening as it sat around her WAIST, he felt her FINGERS drag over his feathers, they RIPPLED under her touch, a soft shiver ran through him.

|| Quick shuffling in her ballet flats made the small woman's body zoom around the hospital, her eyes scanning over her paperwork, her pen dancing from blank space to blank space as she filled in the file. Then as she always some how did the female ended up  in her office, it was in the back of the hospital alone and almost too small even for the tiny woman. Her eyes lifted from the paper and the soft green hues settled on the person infront of her,  “Oh.. Hello.” She quickly set her papers under her arm and reached her hand out, needing to lift her leg off of the ground to lean and shake his hand, she recognized the male from just around- “ I hope you havent been sitting here for too long.” A warm smile tugged her lips upward. ||

|| “ My boss told me that I have to move into the smaller office in the way back of the hospital... today sucks.” ||
