A Death Eater meeting had been called. He’d had the Dark Mark for a few months now, things had to be official after all, but he still felt uneasy every time it was used to call everyone together. Kingsley already had a pretty good idea what it would be about though. People couldn’t go two seconds without mentioning the Potter boy. Even those who did not pledge allegiance to either side had something to say about the kidnapping.
Always the good soldier, in whatever Kingsley did, he arrived at the meeting place early. He liked mingling with those who were already there to see if he could get any dirt on the members, plus spending more time with the Death Eaters definitely helped his image.
Kingsley spotted Jonas Travers off in the corner and casually approached him. If anyone knew anything, it would be him. He followed the Dark Lord with a ferocity Kingsley could only hope to evoke in others one day. “So, I assume we have you to congratulate for the most recent development?”
