so i've been working on this meta/essay/whatever on what my perceived 'evidence' of possible past abuse, particularly in childhood, in Zemo's characterization

just a disclaimer, this isn't a plea for textual interpretation, or making sweeping declarations of characterization, or looking to 'woobiefy' him, excuse his actions, or whathaveyou. i'm simply recognizing, intentional or otherwise, some characteristics i've found in myself and how I believe it can be used to interpret Zemo. it's mostly a curiosity and thought-exercise. don't get your panties in a bunch thinking i'm trying to de-villainize him or something (that's a different essay 😉).

however, i've had this beast (and it's a beast at 5k+ words and counting) in my word docs for months now and it's kind of overwhelming me. it has a lot of psych jargon and research notes and I sit, staring at it, unable to fully bring my ideas together in a cohesive way. so i'd thought i'd just dump most of my notes here in case anyone was interested.

maybe at some point i'll actually finish this but for now i'm just letting it go out into the internet if anyone wants to use it for themselves or Zemo. get that guy some therapy.
