"Me?" His head shot up. He sounded taken aback. "As I recall, you kissed me first—"

She inhaled sharply. "No, mister! You were the one who got near me and don't think I missed that look in your eyes—"

It's not just you that loves Fern and Cliff I do too! I love the leads relationship on the show too the only issue I have is this season does kind of being rushed and they aren't giving us any answers at all I wish it wasn't ending in two weeks I want more of this series I'll miss all these characters.

I love the lead relationships too. Kat/Elliot and Del/Colton especially. This show has such good main couples. But just something about Fern and Cliff in particular has gotten me lol.

Yeah, the one thing for me is I'm surprised we don't know more about what happened with Tessa and Griffin by now. But, generally speaking, I think the way home has fantastic pacing throughout the seasons - balancing the mysteries + multiple timelines. So at the same time I think that why we don't know yet... could be because they do have a really good hold on the pacing. Idk, I like that the show focuses so heavily on the characters and then it's reveals over time.

Particularly with Tessa and Griffin too that can also be reflective of the show as a whole in that it's not always so much the how that matters in the end, but how it impacts.

I'm reallyyyy sad it's ending, though. It sucks that they didn't just give them the one more season they had planned.

Also I've been imagining whenever Cliff works late, Fern will join him at his office. She'll work on her column or read and whenever she finds an interesting passage she'll share it with him aloud. And he's just like *heart eyes* and gets absolutely nothing done because he's too busy watching her. (That's why he was staying at the office in the first place, but he'll never tell her that.)

If Kat doesn't soon realize what's going to happen that's just not right. If I knew my great grandfather was this never-spoken-of figure my great grandmother never even told the true story about and instead replaced it with a tragic movie that was never made and then I visited 80 yr old her and she goes OH I'm cursed btw! I'd start shaking in fear the second I see her fall in love.

The way home is just the right genre of show to have a ship on. They hit all the classics for me: banter, kiss after an argument, kitchen slow dancing, clearly talking about you and how I want you in a room full of people, BETRAYAL, spin hug after she chooses him... REAL TELEVISION.
