but also my headcanon is that the statesmen recruit criminals for field agents bc 1) the us criminal system is a joke and 2) they need agents with nothing to lose so imagine young jack trying to avenge his wife on his own and landing himself in jail only to have champ make him a deal - join the statesman and dedicate his life to service or spend a lifetime in prison for what he did

oh no im suddenly getting agnry bc of ppl who wanted haruka to give makoto cpr just so they would "kiss" like ngl that wouldve been cool bc oTP but ppl are "Haruka treats Makoto so gently~  o///o - Presses gently against Makoto's chest to hear his heart beat. - Leans over him and caresses his cheek. - That brief pause before giving Makoto his first mouth to mouth." uh obviously he would do that because his best friend almost fucking drowned and that is a really freaky thing so of course he would try to be as gentle as possible so that he doesnt make makoto's condition worse and he ended up not having to give mouth-to-mouth anyway bc makoto coughed up water and gained consciousness right before he did it and the "caressing his cheek" was haruka tilting makoto's head up so he could check his breathing god damn do fangirls not know what cpr is im so hsdglfl end rant
