blue eyes widen at his words , and a small blush begins to appear on her freckled cheeks . and , of course , a pout too soon appears as well . “ i can say no and relax whenever i want to . . . ”

the little girl is still fast asleep in her arms , carried away by the acting grandmaster as she walks towards the alchemist , a little tired smile on the woman’s face . “ she barely let me keep my head on my work today , though . i’ll just have to go through it later , it’s okay . ” watching over klee could be more work than the piles of documents on her desk , however ; and while she appreciated any given chance to go outside and enjoy the day , feel the wind hit her face , she was already dreading the thought of spending the night ( once again ) working in her office .
“ how was your work today , though ? any new breakthrough ? ”

a loud gasp can be heard from the acting grandmaster the moment the ginger has his arms around her ; a gasp in shock really , blue eyes widening too and she for a few seconds forgets how to stand , almost falling .
good thing jean is used to surprises like this , very quickly relaxing enough that when childe kisses her , it’s not truly shocking .
“ you missed me ? ” a simple question , but either way it has her smiling a lot . how shy she now looks . “ but i was always here . . . how about we go to my office , and you tell me about your latest travel ? ”
IMMEDIATELY LEAPS INTO HER ARMS AND GIVES HER A NICE BIG KISS BECAUSE IT’S BEEN A LONG TIME AND HE MISSED HER!!!! // @harbingertm !
