if you had to ask what peter would be doing to spend his time on his only day off in a long time, he would most likely decide to stay in bed for the majority of it and catch up on sleep he hadn’t gotten in a while. however, on this particular day off. he had decided he was going to go to a con that was in town for that time, he’d managed to get given tickets due to a favor he’d done for someone while being spiderman and of course, he decided to go to said con dressed as the vigilante he portrayed at night ( and sometimes during the day. )
being in the suit felt like he was home however even walking around in it casually sometimes caused a tingle of anxiety to flow through him, as if danger would jump him in the face. he knew deep down that his spider sense would tell him all he needed to know before the anxiety could even reach a boiling point but it was still there.
the con was packed with people, which was something that peter was well used to having grown up in new york but seeing a bunch of people dressed up in nerdy cosplay, even some matching his own made him happy. he knew he had some fans in the spiderman suit but seeing them, talking to them without them actually knowing it was him was something that always seemed to set his heart on haywire in the best way possible. it was nice to know people liked him despite the hate fueled rant that j. jonah jameson always blasted through the ears of anyone who would possibly listen.
he strolled up to a particularly interesting location, tapping his finger on his chin while taking in the site when he became aware of a girl standing nearby.
“hey.”
