Some might find comfort in a path guided away from the sea of humanity; others might see a trail of flowers leading them to an entirely different place, further from the bustling district they’d been in before. A path dribbled by flora would be quick to gather the child’s attention, and the cliff at the end would become a spot for them to linger for many times to come. The long drop below reminded them of a lot of things: the beauty of nature, how life moves on regardless of circumstances, and, well... Their own fall, and consequential new life unfolding.
Lingering on the edge, they felt no fear having their legs kick off of it. Even if they did fall, they’d give no complaint. In their hands rested a weave of flowers itself, gathered from the trail on the way here. Surrounded by flowers, Chara was at home, though the sight did nothing to ease them of their own thoughts. For a place so beautiful, it was locked past the waves of humanity. And given this place’s name, which they came across at one point... It’s meaning still roots itself into them either way.
“....?” For awhile now, they’ve felt oddly tense. Almost as if they were expecting someone to arrive ( or perhaps, they already had? ). Sneaking glances behind them, it’s still surprising when someone appears. Although she looked human, much too normal for their comfort... She also looked strangely different, in a way they couldn’t understand. Despite their nerves, they speak to her, in a way they themselves didn’t expect. “You needn’t keep your distance. If you wish to look at the sights below as well, I won’t get in your way.”
