#every time i see the word stan written in a serious context on this website#it makes my soul curl up inside my body and die a bit#and that may sound dramatic#but it is true#like.... i know stan culture has good intentions in that it should be people being all ride r die for their favourite#but its turned into such an ugly part of fandom culture i h8 it#because all it does these days is imply that if you don’t stan this character this particular way#ur not loving them correctly#i just#have a lot of thoughts and feelings about how stan culture has become such an inherently negative part of fandon#* fandom#i will write that essay on it one day#in which i ramble#anyways ignore me#negativity /
