After seven years, Maggie still wasn’t entirely sure how the rest of the family saw her. Undoubtedly, she’d heard the whispers of those in the coven who’d damned her right along with her uncle and since the fateful day they’d discovered the atrocities that he’d committed and since they’d begun, she felt the full weight of such guilt. It was any wonder that she found enough courage now to approach Jesse at all. Ever the spitting image of his father, it made it difficult to remember they were near nothing alike. “You’re here alone?” She questioned, a little uncertain as to whether she was breaching territory that was truly none of her business, but it seemed a little less confrontational than anything else that twisted up in her throat.

There was no real telling what Jesse might do when he came home to find Jake sitting upon the front step, an opened bottle of whiskey sitting beside him as he waited - silently. Truthfully, Jake still wasn't sure what space they were in; talking, yes.. but beyond that, he didn't know what opinion his former best friend had of him. In lieu of losing two of his employees, however, Jake chose to forgo caring. Choosing to be there for him instead. "Drink?" He asked as the tall shadow of Jesse loomed ever closer, cracking the lid and holding it out for him, "I'm betting you need it."

"You've been here three times this week." It wasn't much of an observation, he'd asked to be notified of all the people who came to visit his sister while she was under observation following her recent overdose. 'I didn't know you and Kota were close, Jesse." And though he wouldn't outright voice it, he didn't like it.

Truthfully, Daniela had no fucking idea how they'd ended up here. It was unnaturally late, for either of them to still be in the studio. They'd closed almost four hours ago, and yet, despite all of the lights switched off and the main floor silent, they'd remained in his office going over designs and trying to piece together everyone's hours for the upcoming weeks. Had it been the few drinks they'd shared? Or the fact that they'd been entirely alone? Her skirt hitched high on her waist, his hand hot against the flesh of her thigh and nothing but heavy breath between them as she'd pulled back, "Wait.. Wait.." Onyx hues opened to the man she now straddled - her boss. Already, they'd fucked up but, "We do this and there's no going back, Jess."
