Kinda sad (and annoyed) that my home city is considered ugly af. Like, whenever someone finds out where I live, there is a 90% chance that they'll tell me that it's really ugly and ask me how can I stand living there??
and I don't? Get it?? Like I've lived here for 20+ years and I wouldn't want to live anwhere else. Sure we have ugly places, but?? every large city does??? There's so many pretty places!! like ... 50-60% of the city is parks and meadows and forests, and we have tons of really pretty places in the city with old heritage-protected mansions; we have a small castle, lots of old towers (some of which you can actually go into), and a zoo that doubles as a park because that's how it originally started.
Idk how weird this is but one of my favorite scents is smell of slightly rotting Jacaranda flowers
