marlene: she’ll ask in the moment, she likes knowing how things work, but if she doesn’t have that opportunity she’ll do her own research

shauna: she honestly does not care enough to know whatever it is so she just pretends that she understands whatever someone’s talking about, or zones out. she’ll figure it out if she needs to know whatever it is

shauna wanted a pet as a child, but her parents wanted to make sure she could take care of one first. they got her several fish which she promptly killed through neglect and thus she never had another. she’s also probably allergic to cats but doesn’t hang around them enough to know.
