irina’s having a day off,   a courtesy she so seldom enjoys.    ironically enough,   she’s situated outside of the no doze cafe,   laptop out as she tries fruitlessly to work on her novel.   the sound of splashing and laughter draws her attention and her frustration only grows once she spots teenagers playing in the lake,   of all places.   “only an idiot would go in a death trap like that.”    she mutters,  somewhat childishly.   ( @itlivesstarters )

living life as an influencer means working nonstop    --    at least,   this is true for mabelle.   even in town amidst the rumors of corruption and something unknown in the woods,  she has to do her job,  snapping photo after photo to keep her account running.   she’s found the perfect spot near the lake,   posed right against the side of no doze cafe    ...    but no one to take the picture for her.    she spots someone walking by and,   without even checking to see who it is,   calls out to them.    “hey   !!    can you take this picture for me  ??”   /    ( @itlivesstarters )

she’s just left her volunteer shift at the hospital when the sight of the woods catches her eyes    --   ever present,   dark and twisted branches obscuring any light that might happen to filter in.    she wonders if her brother’s in there   --   wonders if he’s okay,   if he’s thinking about her.    and then someone comes in contact with her back and penelope realizes that,   embarrassingly enough,   she was blocking the door.    flushing,   she steps out of the way,    turning on her heel to apologize.    “i’m so sorry    !!    i didn’t even realize,  i  --  i’m such a ditz.   are you alright  ??”  ( @itlivesstarters )
