"Consider this your one last chance." Suited Nausi for Telemachus, got too close to ogygia Epic: Vengeance Saga @sorsrenuo
Taking after his father despite not having met him until a few years ago was probably not the best thing, but now here he was, out on the ocean on one of many diplomatic missions. Odysseus kept telling him that any time now, he would become the new king, so he needed to get ready for that. All that to say, these voyages couldn't last longer than a month or two given his father was older now and anything could happen.
As a result of bad luck on this particular day, or maybe even just the curse of being the son of Odysseus, Telemachus' boat was tossed about on the open waters by a set of rough waves and he'd gotten all turned around. His father recreated a map of the ocean as he knew it when he returned home, so that's what he was using now - but the landmarks on the map no longer matched with what he was seeing.
There was a lone island off in the distance, he could barely make it out - but he knew there was one. It definitely wasn't Athens, which was his original destination. Before he could get any closer look at where he'd suddenly been tossed and turned to, his boat came to a complete stop at the behest of one distorted voice - their hand extended against the bow. They gave him a warning, and only one chance to heed it - he needed to turn back; but, much like his father would've, he saw to trying to spark conversation and reason with the individual that greeted him.
Stepping forward and away from the wheel, Telemachus scanned the suit of armor in-front of him. It looked Olympian, was this one of the gods? He wanted to call out to Athena and get her opinion, but it could spark some sort of feud that he didn't want to be the cause of if it was.
「Let me extend an apology at least - the ocean seemed to disagree with my original route, and I've gotten all turned around. I am Telemachus of Ithaca, I mean no threat.」
