Mickey's obsession with that one specific photo of Ian will never not make me laugh 😭😭😭 everytime I think about it I start giggling uncontrollably

You know what I think about often? The fact when Ian was confronting Mickey 3x09, Mickey doesn't react to Ian saying that he (Mickey) loves him, but he does react when he says that he's gay. He can accept fact he loves and cares for Ian, but the moment it comes to accepting himself and his sexuality it's suddenly a problem because he isn't willing to acknowledge that as part of himself

Rewatching Shamelsss after getting some family hooked on it and I was thinking... how did Mandy not realize Ian had hooked up with Mickey?? Unless im misunderstanding, didn't she literally watch Ian walk out of Mickey's bedroom, and then like the next day or so tell Mandy he slept with someone that wasn't Kash? How did she not put two and two together?? 😭

Idk maybe im reading too much into it or misunderstanding things so someone correct me if im wrong but I just wanted to point it out

I feel like Mickey telling Ian "Not everyone just gets to blurt out how they fucking feel every minute" in 3x11 was his inadvertent way of telling him how he feels about everything. (Stick with me)

Like sure, Mickey feels as if he doesn't have a say in this whole marriage thing, so he remains quiet about it. Yet he feels comfortable enough to announce this to Ian. This was his way of blurting out his emotions, and he's doing it around the only person he knows is safe enough to do so. I think its especially important since it tells us just where Mickey stands in their relationship. We already know that he cares about Ian—this much is obvious, but especially in season 3—but this is the first genuine time I think we see him truly open up to Ian

And of course if this was anyone else Mickey wouldn't say this. He definitely didn't tell Mandy, who thinks he's willingly doing this because of Svetlana being pregnant, and he definitely didn't mention anything to his brothers about it, nor Terry. Ian's the only person he could go to and lay down these feelings, yet he does it in a way that doesn't leave him completely vulnerable. He's still keeping his walls up but he's managing to let Ian sneak his way in despite that

I hope this makes sense. Just thinking about it
