Splash.
The sound of water frightened them, even if they were dressed to jump into it themselves. Equipped with an excessive amount of floaties, they lingered beside the river, incapable of hopping in. They’ve never swam before! They don’t know how to! Though they insisted on learning, being here now, they immediately felt like going home. It was too much of a task.
But the sound of splashing as someone else jumped in worried them, especially given they were alone. Searching the water revealed--
“?!” A fully clothed girl had fallen in? Was she alright? Concern welled up as they hurried over to where she was, still pausing at the water’s edge. ...No, they couldn’t just stand here and watch. Taking a deep breath, the hop into the river themselves, making their way over to Tressa. “Are you okay?! What happened?” Don’t mind the fact their feet were able to touch the bottom of the riverbed.
