i've scribbled down some verse ideas... i need to read up on these again (esp the grisha verse bc last time i read the trilogy was 5 yrs ago, soc duo 3 yrs ago and i never even finished the nikolai duo fsdf) buttttt... here are some of my ideas ^_^

zuko never looked for the avatar after his banishment. instead, him, iroh and the whole crew settled in the outskirts of the earth kingdom and opened a tea shop. verse name: " the boy with the hand shaped scar. " he takes iroh's words to heart and realizes that he is worth more than what ozai is making him out to be, and just doesn't look for aang. only when the news of aang's return does he embark on the journey to find him, and hopefully join them and teach him firebending and take out his father does he leave his uncle. he leaves on his own, even if iroh was persistant on going with him, zuko refused bc he didn't want to put him in any danger. <3 this au is still a major wip! but i like the idea of it... heh.
grishaverse: like i said, i need to reread all the books. zuko is a noble / royalty from shu han, an inferni. he was banished for speaking up against his father during a war meeting, where zuko's father was saying something about testing on orphans, or poor shu han grisha. he was not to set foot inside shu han unless he finds the legendary shu han grisha, called " the avatar. " [squaller, tidemaker, inferni, terra and light summoner]. he sets out on this journey with his uncle. this verse is still a wip! :)
demigod verse: zuko is the son of ozai, and the solar deity xihe, the greek myth equivalent is helios. he is also the legacy of agni, also known as: hephaestus / vulcan. that's where his abilities to control fire comes from. his godly parent doesn't claim him until he is 16-17, so he has a lot of pent up anger inside him... this is mostly because i love pjo/hoo and any other demigod-based media... :-)
dc/marvel/vigilante verse: he is the blue spirit, taking up that mantle to set things right. usually his main goal is to free people who are wrongfully imprisoned by his father, but it later escalates into bigger things... and he is suddenly fighting crime. the blue spirit is a legend his mother would tell him when he was younger, about a spirit who roamed the earth, in pursuit of finding his path and help the innocent. so it was only appropriate for him to take on that name... :) he doesn't use his ‘pyrokinesis’ in this verse, but two broadswords instead.
genshin impact verse: this was coming. Yeah. basically zuko is a ‘ 5 star pryo sword user, ’ dual blade wielder, from liyue. a descendant of the dragon of fire, his paternal great-grandfather sozin was the pyro sovereign. he is also a descendant of a heavenly being, his maternal great-grandfather roku was a divine human [able to control all of the visions] sent from celestia as a bridge between gods and humans. roku's powers of the visions is not inheritable, but he is more spiritually inclined. i still haven't thought more on this verse, but the same storyline of being banished is applied here as well! i just have to figure out what kind of fucked up shit his family did this time to make it more appealing kasjdhfasd
