The drive into the mountain range had taken roughly three hours, and by foot, it took them another two to find a decent spot that was relatively deep within the mountains, but not so far that it'd take them a ridiculous amount of time to find their way back. Out here, the air was fresh and light, easy to breathe in, and much better than the city air.
Saerin had planned this trip with Joonhyo days ago, but because of their conflicting schedule, they hadn't had the time until today. More than the reason why they came here, Saerin was just excited to spend time with him. It's been hard for her lately, because while her schedule was open between shootings, Joonhyo was now working three jobs and attending college. Nobody ever warned her that married life could be just as unpleasant as it was wonderful.
"This is a good spot." Saerin decides when they reach a clearing with a stream that ran fresh water in sight. They planned to spend the night out here, and they've brought all the essentials. She plops down on the lush grass and falls back, spreading her arms and legs and basking in the warm sunlight, eyes closing.
"I'm happy to be out here with you, Joonhyo. Thank you.. for making the time."
