"If it is all the same to you, I would prefer to continue worrying regardless.” Koriand’r has seen how Timothy conducts himself, how he has a blatant disregard for his personal safety. “I have learned over my years as a resident of Earth that humans are distressingly fragile. I worry about every human I accompany into battle.”

“Of course,” she says. “There is so much good in the world, whether it is on this planet or any other. There will never not be something to fight for.” She gives him a smile and squeezes his shoulder gently. “I grew up in war. Finding the good that is worth protecting was the only thing we could do.”

*gives kori a bouquet of red sweetpea flowers* "I- ah, hope these are okay?"
Kori squeals in delight, taking the bouquet from Wally’s hands and spinning around in the air. “Wallace, I love them! Thank you so much!” She bends down to kiss both of his cheeks in her exuberance. “They are beautiful. I am touched that you thought of me.”
Reaching out, she takes Wally’s hand in her own. “We must go find a vase and some water to put them in!”

Kori sighs and tucks Deb in against her a bit tighter. “Yes, of course I do. My parents are both dead in service to the greater good, my brother is missing, and my sister turned her back not only on her family, but on her planet and her species. Despite all of this... yes, I miss them. Every day. I wish for nothing more than to be back in my childhood, where we were happy and there had been no blood spilt.”

Kori bites her lip and nods, reaching out to push warm fingers through Dick’s hair. “What do you need?” she asks. She’s not sure if Dick was going to visit his parents or the young Jason’s grave, but either one is likely to throw Dick into a depressive spiral.
