Hey V! Did you think that No More Sad Songs was a good choice for a single? If not, what song would you have wanted to be a single? (Personally, I would've loveeeed F.U. instead. Or maybe Power).
Honestly… Glory Days is my least fave LM album, so I feel like of what was on it, the choices for singles have been the right ones. (I definitely prefer NMSS to “Oops,” which seemed like it was the other choice/will be the final single?) Although I think “You Gotta Not” or “Power” would also make good singles – they seem very like ~what I hear on the radio, even if they’re not my favorite tracks on the album, yk? But I also feel like I never quite understand LM’s single choices, or what’s on the radio, so, lol. I like “F.U.,” but it would be hard to make it like, radio-ish. IDK. The radio and I disagree on taste.
Also, I’d like NMSS more as a single if they didn’t add a useless white boy who doesn’t make sense on the song. MEN NEVER MAKE ANY SENSE ON GIRL GROUP SONGS AND THEY ADD NOTHING. JUST STOP IT, MUSIC INDUSTRY.
LM SONGS FROM EACH ERA THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SINGLES:
DNA: LOVE DRUNK, We Are Who We Are, Case Closed, Going Nowhere
SALUTE: Nothing Feels Like You, Boy, About the Boy, Une Autre Personne, Stand Down– I mostly agree with Salute’s single choices, although I think I would have done them in a different order. Move, then Salute, then another midtempo, and then Little Me. Although I never like ballads-as-singles. They’re pointless.
GET WEIRD: A.D.I.D.A.S., GROWN, HAIR without adding Pitbull!!!!!!!!!111
GLORY DAYS: You Gotta Not, Power
