what's your greatest worry about penelope living on her own?
Every single worry a parent could have. The possibility of a break-in, of a fire, of any other type of natural and unnatural disaster that could befall her when she’s not under my roof. Or under my more-or-less continued vigilance. But it would be unfair to pretend to keep her hidden away from the rest of the world, or to give the impression I don’t trust her abilities to survive on her own. @penabrams
is there anything that you feel like you don't understand about penelope?
As much as I love my daughter, I think anyone would be a fool to say they understand another person entirely. She’s always been granted her privacy, and I’ve always been okay with the notion that I don’t need to understand her every choice to truly love her. @penabrams
