but yeah on just a matt note, he’s kinda super sweet sometimes at the beginning of anything he does with you so he can give you this false sense of security and get you all brainless only to mold you to his liking later on :(( it’s just that you cry n whine so prettily when he’s being this confusing mix of condescending and sweet - saying something like “so fucking desperate for it. came twice already and still begging for more, huh?” only to be followed by the most gentle touches, wiping away tears and brushing any stray hairs away from your face - when he’s fucking you dumb

smth smth the Roman Empire had been in turmoil for the past 100 or so years when Zenobia came into power, and what Aurelian accomplished within a 5 year span truly is remarkable (hey hey watch this OSP video for a tldr go go go), so I can see why the writers went in the direction they did— even if the execution was poor. But I think people should calm down with the “Roman boner” claims and comparing Zenobia to Boudicca. Islander was a Greek king and conqueror and yet he’s always praised too, and he’s been around since /Zero. Pharoahs are, well, also rulers. It isn’t exclusively a Roman thing. Not to mention Zenobia herself was a ruling queen to her own empire. If the discussion going around we’re about how male rulers are writen/treated compared to female rulers, it’d be one thing but that’s not really what it looks like so far.
