       words like   pure cane sugar,   doused    /    over honey buns straight from the oven.    /    voice is as soft as   cloud,   as you    /    inspect the   fine detail   interlaced in shimmering  chest plate.    /    he was a pleasant man,   to say the least.    /    his presence was most enjoyable.

               *you said that you are a wielder of magic ?                *that’s funny.                *i’m taking lessons from   toriel.                *but that’s primarily   fire based   magic.                *what kind of magic do   you   practice,   love ?

        though his words may   sting   and are otherwise    /    unpleasant,   you must strive to continue to be.    /    good.    /    name calling   was more common for them than    /    one would think.    /    what on earth makes you so   happy ?    /    so   care free ?    /    so   peaceful ?    /    stop it.    /    punk.    brat.    the list goes on.

                *you can love everyone else and still not love yourself.     it’s alright. 

        if there’s   one thing   you’ve learned    /    after   all this time,   is    /    that   loving yourself   can be   hard   for some people.     there may be things about you that you might want to    /    change,   but   can’t,   for one reason or another.    /    it is only through   self acceptance   that you    /    can truly love yourself,   and that all    /    must come   in time.    in some cases,   it    /    takes   longer   for some people to love themselves,    /    and that’s alright. 

                *your emotions are valid.     they always have been.     it’s alright.

        be they   monster   or   human   or something   inbetween,   you    /    want to tell them they are   loved.    /    angel heart   that flutters on sight of a new face,   makes    /    gentle touchdown   with the ground once they find a way    /    to   approach.    /    you draw a single   red apple   from your inventory and step nearer. 

                *you look hungry.     are you hungry ?     you can have this if you are.     it’s fresh from the tree.

        a silence carried on the wind leaves two   souls   to meditate on the    /    fractured beauty   of a   fragmented world.    /    it was a beautiful thing, how the world works,    /    how   fate   has bestowed upon us    /    a   friendship    /    something to   have,   and    /    something to   hold.  

                *i’m glad we’re friends. 

        you can only imagine there are timelines where that   isn’t   the case.    /    in fact,   you know it to be true.    /    so you    /    are   grateful    /    for the hand you have been dealt,   because    /    you have played your cards   successfully,   and    /    this is your reward.       ( @theirmercy liked !

        you gaze upon her   satin,   golden   beauty interlaced with fine shades of   bronze   and smold’ring   red.    /    certainly,   she was   beauty personified,   but your interest lay   elsewhere.    /    something   beyond   gorgeous silks and wondrous jewels. 

                *your   father.     he is the   demon king.                  *but   ...                   *are you   anything   like him ?                  *or is it merely   blood   and   love   that binds you two ?                  *i mean not to make you uncomfortable.

        your tone is tightly woven with   singularity,    /    in no way does it quirk.    /    for this was something   not   to be taken lightly.    /    and yet you can’t help but voice    /    your   unwavering curiosity.

        even in the face of   adversity,   you can’t help but smile    /    but shine !    /    for your   heart   still beats and it beats for   everyone.    /    it was a soft smile,   too,   barely    /    shifting corners of your lips,    /    but anyone who looked your way could tell that you were    /    truly happy.
