Von Rothbart is proud to send their child, KATJA ROTHBART, to the land of Auradon for the upcoming social season. We hear they’re PASSIONATE and SPONTANEOUS, but can also be SADISTIC and PETTY. And it’s said they bare a remarkable resemblance to JENNY BOYD, but that’s merely a coincidence. We’re sure they’ll cause quite a stir in the town this year, but only time will tell.
● Being the daughter of Von Rothbart is tiresome at best for Katja. She spent most of her life hearing about his failed plans. How he was supposed to be king. It was like listening to a child whine about their missing toy. Honesty, after the third or fourth time her father mentioned it she just tuned him out. Feeling that he should just chalk it up to him being completely and utterly incompliant.
● Incompliant is the exact word she would use when describing how he was as a father as well. He never seemed to be all that useful to her. Katja figures she could give him a little credit for keeping her alive long enough to walk and talk. But honestly that was the bare minimum he had to do. The Rothbart household was not one filled with love and happiness. It was a stale and disastrous situation at best. That only got worse when Katja was old enough to really understand what her father’s failure meant for her. A life in the shadow realm. A place she was far too good for.
● Katja has a bit of a mean streak. You could say that she enjoys the suffrage of others a fair bit. Though she never really feels like messing with the other Shadow Realm born is worth it. Though she does make sure people understand that she isn’t someone to be walked all over. She may look delicate and fair, but she has no problem busting a nail on someone's face if need be. A habit that has granted her more enemies than friends. But honestly what value do friends really have in a place like their homeland.
● Getting to go to Auradon is a god sent. She will finally be in an atmosphere semi-deserving of her presence. Not to mention she is looking forward to being out of the depressing atmosphere around her father. She intends to make a good life for herself. And is willing to roll over whoever she may need to in the process. The details are a bit abstract at the moment but she has goals. Very very big goals.
