The 80s were wild.
I should make this into a series.
Drunk dad: Listen, not everyone gets to turn 50! That's a privilege!

when I was young I was obssessed with LADY OSCAR, she was serving the queen as a man in the french army whatever (it was a japanese animation , the historical facts were a bit off).
The princess did not know Oscar was a she and was in love with her (just for a few episodes, then she falls for another guy, but it’s always complicated. Oscar had to hide and was living in secret.
I was day dreaming at school about saving a princess or being somekind of masculine for a beautiful princess. When I started drawing more, I also included a character in my own comic that was body female but clearly masculine. I think it was a way for me to escape. I was imagining myself hurt from a big battle and injured and worrying the princess. hehehe wouaw :P anyways anyone my age knows that in those days japanese animations really played on the non binary thing or women as man it was good dream material for me !
