the one place they sometimes end up falling asleep — where they’re not supposed to: she'll "accidentally" fall asleep on the shoulder of whoever she's trying to charm at the time. she's used it on eric so many times he probably thinks she's narcoleptic.
the game they’d destroy everyone else at: generally most strategy-based games, but vanessa is wickedly adept at chess in particular and will remain 10 steps ahead of her opponent at all times.
the emoticon they’d use most often: the wink emoticon.
what they act like when they haven’t had enough sleep: her left eye twitches, and she tries not to let on but her temper is a lot shorter.
their preferred hot beverage on really cold nights. or mornings. or whenever: any variant of black tea.
how they like to comfort/care for themselves when they’re in a slump: cookies and cream ice cream. lots of cookies and cream ice cream. she also has a habit of screaming into her pillow.
what they wanted to be when they grew up: vanessa had actually wanted to be an engineer, out of all things. she liked science, and wanted to prove she had beauty and brains. but it's hard to lure men when they know you're smarter than them.
their favorite kind of weather: she loves the times when the sky is grey, the wind picks up and there's the hint of a storm brewing on the horizon; it makes her feel as though something exciting is about to happen.
thoughts on their singing voice (decent? terrible? soprano? alto?): vanessa's voice is heartbreakingly sweet; she'd charm a bird right out of its nest.
how/what they like to draw or doodle: vanessa's not one for doodling; she never does anything without deliberate thought.

One thing? Make the Outlands less of a shithole. I mean, there's no place like home and everything, but animal carcasses and dirt for miles around ain't exactly picturesque. If it didn't look and smell like hell I doubt we'd all be clawing at each other's throats and wallets tryin' to get out.
